Indonesia Travel Bucket List Luwuk Banggai 3 : The Exotic Beauty of Pulau Dua Balantak Luwuk Banggai

Luwuk Banggai does save a million natural beauty that many people do not yet know, going deeper into this tourist destination in Luwuk we will find places that are very extraordinary.

On the second day the Susur Nusantara Team resumed the trip to Pulau Dua, hearing the name Pulau Dua might be familiar to some tourists.

Pulau Dua is located in Kampangar Village, Balantak District, Luwuk Banggai Regency, this one destination has beautiful natural beauty, according to people who have come to this place Dua Island is very similar to Padar Island in NTT.

At around 7:00 a.m. Susur Nusantara Team departs from Luwuk City to Dua Balantak Island, a trip to Pulau Dua requires about more than 2 hours of travel by car, a considerable distance from Kota, it is recommended to go early if you want to visit this place.

After traveling far enough, the Susur Nusantara Team finally arrived on Pulau Dua, here we were treated to extraordinary views of the beach with white sand stretching and blue sea water surrounded by hill islands making us momentarily stunned by its beauty.

The trek is not enough to get here, to arrive at Pulau Dua we have to use a boat to cross to Pulau Dua. After ordering the Tim Susur Nusantara ship to cross to Pulau Dua, it took about 30 minutes to reach the island.

Because we arrived at the island at 11:00 a.m. the weather here was very hot, before going up to the island some of our friends took time to snorkel to enjoy the underwater scenery of the island.

After finishing snorkeling we went up to the island, on Pulau Dua the stairs have been built up to the top of the island to make it easier for visitors to climb the island.

Again, we were treated to a very exotic scenery, the hills of Pulau Dua were golden, sparkling with sunshine. From a distance, the sea turned blue into a background that blended perfectly with Pulau Dua.

And it turns out that it is true that from several points of view this island is similar to Pualu Padar in NTT. Apart from these similarities, Pulau Dua is still Pulau Dua with all its charms. Its unspoiled waters tempt visitors to plunge into it.

Besides being a beautiful photo and snorkeling spot on Pulau Dua, you can also do diving activities. There are several diving spots scattered around Pulau Dua, such as Ondoliang Rock, Nemo Rock, Alibaba, Batu Gong and so on, but unfortunately the Susur Nusantara Team this time did not have time to dive due to the time that was not possible.

On weekends and holidays in Pulau Dua there are also many local tourists visiting to enjoy its beauty, not only local tourists from foreign tourists, but especially tourists who like diving. For tourists who are traveling to Luwuk Banggai this one must be visited.

How do I become a Local Guides to promote Indonesian tourism (Indonesia Travel Bucket List Stories : Local Guides X Indonesian Ministry Of Tourism)

The name of the program is “SUSUR NUSANTARA” has a special agenda to revitalize the existence of tourist spots in Indonesia that are less exposed on social media. The West Side’s fame on social media is far less than the East side’s fame, where hashtags with locations in Bali, NTB, Sulawesi and Papua are always crowded with posts by local and international netizens.

I along with the team explored 8 destinations that are rarely exposed in Indonesia. I was officially invited to collaborate because I am a co-founder of Indonesia’s largest media on Instagram, @ExploreIndonesia, and also I am an alumni of the 2017 Local Guides Summit who are very active in helping local tourism in my residential areas, Sidoarjo and Surabaya.

Not only that, my job there is to photograph the beauty of the natural, cultural and regional heritage there. But it also helps to update the location with updated points of tourist attractions on Google Maps with the Local Guides program and Street View Trusted Photographer so that it will get maximum results.

My goal for sharing this story is to show my experience when traveling to unique places in Indonesia. And also helps provide insight to other global Local Guides friends. So, I will write my stories through the title “Indonesia Travel Bucket List Stories”.

Hopefully, one day, officially, @ExploreIndonesia and the Google Local Guides program also Google Maps can collaborate in Indonesia.
