Indian Street Food (Pav Bhaji)💫✨

Hello,

Today I am sharing about the famous and delicious Indian (Especially Mumbai, Maharashtra) Street Food Pav Bhaji.

Pav bhaji is a street food dish from India consisting of a thick vegetable curry (Bhaji) served with a soft bread roll (Pav). It originated in the city of Mumbai (Maharashtra)

The dish originated as a fast lunchtime dish for textile mill workers in Mumbai. But Pav bhaji was later served at restaurants throughout the city. Pav bhaji is now offered at outlets from simple hand carts to formal restaurants in India and abroad.

What is Pav Bhaji ?

Pav bhaji is a spiced mixture of mashed vegetables in a thick gravy served with bread. Vegetables in the curry may commonly include potatoes, onions, carrots, chillies, peas, bell peppers, cheese and tomatoes. Street sellers usually cook the curry on a flat griddle (tava) and serve the dish hot. A soft white bread roll is the usual accompaniment to the curry, but this does not preclude the use of other bread varieties such as chapati, roti or brown bread.

Pav Bhaji is popular Indian street food where dinner rolls/buns are served with spicy mashed veggies topped with dollop of butter. Street food doesn’t get better than this.

Pav Bhaji Recipe is spicy, so flavorful. If you have never had this in your life, you are seriously missing out.

Indian street food is my favorite kind of food. It’s something that I can eat everyday and still not get bored of it. I can’t handle too much spice but somehow my tolerance level magically increases when I eat from those street vendors. I really don’t know how it happens but it happens.

It’s so good and tasty, how can you not love it?

Thank you :cyclone: :sparkles:
