India gate, New Delhi, illuminated at the sunset

Hello LGs,

I just had a quick visit to our India’s capital city, New Delhi and visited a few historic and landmark places there. On the very first day, on September 29, 2024, we had a meet-up planned by our CM, @NareshDarji at India Gate at around 5 PM IST. As we all started gathering and enjoying meeting each other, we had this privilege of watching illumination of India Gate.

It just happened that we were at the right time and right place to capture this, just behind Netaji Subhash chandra Bose canopy!!

We didn’t wait for the full illumination of the area due to time constrain, but this was enough to please our eyes and soul.

I hope you will like it. I will keep posting about the rest of my tour and visits there shortly. :grinning:

I have always struggled with night photography.

So, I think that during the next meetup on Sunday, which is in late evening, it is right time to pick some tips for night photography.

A few months ago, I had the opportunity to visit this historic site. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay until nightfall due to time constraints. Next time, I plan to return and explore it after dark.

It was just amazing, like colors are coming out of the huge canvas, @Anil6969 and indeed a proud moment to see Indian flag colors too!
