At Talaopali or Lake Area of Thane today we met a bhelpuri seller, Shiv Kumar Gupta. Gus aluminium drum had all ingredients of the puri on it: sauces - green and red (hot and sweet), minced salad, lentil noodles or sec, lentil noodles with peanuts, lentils and peas, puffed rice and flat, fried dough called papdi.
Any Google Local Guide visiting any part of India is recommended to try Bhel Puri. It is a popular street food pan India. Those too fussy about eating on the street can also order the same dish in restaurants.

Bhel Puri would seem to be quite filling and tasty treat, I would imagine having one for energy boost for late afternoon at work, as I would also imagine it being crunchy with burst of flavors. : ]
Does it happen to have any other names for the dish (if I remember correctly)?
For the moment, I would just wanted to let you know that the subject of Food and Drink would be better suited for the post, as that’s why there is the correction of category.
That’s a unique story @giribpai
Even a mention of the name Bhel Puri & Pani Puri is mouth-watering.
Nevertheless, I patronize vendors doing the preparations in a closed shop, wearing a head-cover & using protective covering on the palms & forearms.
