In this episode , is on a journey back in time to explore Bombay’s hidden cannons! These muzzle loading cannons went obsolete due to advancement in British artillery technology. These cast-iron cannons were so heavy and the cost of moving them was so high , that they were left rotting out in the streets of Bombay Fort .Some of them later found use as Street Markers or as mooring poles to dock ships. In this episode , he goes hunting for some of these cannons , hidden in plain-sight on present day streets of mumbai , their glory and use , now all but lost.

Very interesting and informative post @bombaysmackers thanks for tagging me.
Great post @bombaysmackers . You’re one eagle-eyed person to find such cannons that are half way into the ground. I’ve been to actual forts and seen some there but none are like the ones you found. Really awesome!!
