Vizo and his family live in the village of Dzuleke about 40 km from Kohima in Nagaland, India. The name of the village comes from the river Dzuleke that, during its course, goes underground once it reaches Dzuleke. ‘Dzu’ means water and ‘leke’ means underground in the local language. There are no hotels but locals have been welcoming travellers into their lives and homes.
Yea,h indeed it’s an amazing way to experience the local lifestyle and culture. I have been travelling around villages across the World and would be sharing more photo stories here on a regular basis.
@sonnyNg you must plan and if you do then please let me know. I would love to host you and show you around.
Thanks for this info. I am noting it for my future posts. Do you want me to repost this one without my website link? Also, I have seen people using links in their signature, is that okay?
