Manchester’s Christmas Parade is a “must-not-miss” event in the city’s calendar and is promising to be even bigger and better this year. Here is a link to the Manchester City Council’s official page advertising the event.
Why not join Manchester Local Guides to watch it with long established friends, or meet people and make new friends?
We will meet in Exchange Square, Manchester - at the end of the tram platform near to the entrance to Next (easy access by tram to the Exchange Square stop and near to Victoria Station for those coming by train). We will meet at 12:45. From there we will find a place to watch the parade as it tours the Victoria/Deansgate/Market Street areas of the city.
Please take loads of photos and videos of the parade and we will collect them together in a shared album to enjoy the event again and review it and maybe encourage even more visitors for it next year!
After the parade we will spend some time strolling the Christmas markets - maybe share a glass of gluhwein - and find a place to eat before the chill of night sets in.
