As parents, we know that traveling with children can sometimes be… an adventure! From keeping them entertained to finding suitable facilities, a smooth airport experience makes all the difference. That’s why I’m thrilled to announce an exciting meetup focused on something close to many of our hearts: kid-friendly amenities at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) Terminal 2!
Why Terminal 2?
BLR’s Terminal 2 is relatively new and has been designed with passenger experience in mind. We’ve heard buzz about its beautiful architecture, sustainable features, and, most importantly for this meetup, its potential to be a haven for families traveling with little ones. But what truly makes it kid-friendly? Let’s find out together!
What We’ll Explore:
During this meetup, we’ll be putting on our “kid-friendly” glasses to thoroughly explore Terminal 2 and document all the amenities that make it easier for families. Here’s a sneak peek at what we’ll be looking for and contributing to Google Maps:
• Play Areas & Entertainment: Are there dedicated play zones? What kind of activities do they offer?
• Family Restrooms & Changing Facilities: How accessible and well-maintained are they? Are there private nursing rooms?
• Dining Options for Kids: Are there restaurants with kid-friendly menus or high chairs?
• Stroller Accessibility: How easy is it to navigate with a stroller? Are there ramps, elevators, and wide pathways?
• Family Services: Any special check-in counters, security lanes, or assistance for families?
• Unique Features: Does T2 have any innovative or unexpected amenities that delight children and parents?
