Get ready to activate your taste buds and your camera shutters! I am thrilled to announce an exciting in-person lunch meetup in the heart of our vibrant city. Let’s get together to do what we do best: explore, eat, and put a great local spot on the map with high-quality contributions.

Our destination is Hotel Charlie in Kharvela Nagar, a popular place known for its delicious food. This meetup is all about the spirit of a food crawl: discovering fantastic local cuisine, capturing mouth-watering photos for Google Maps, sharing our reviews, and most importantly, connecting with fellow Local Guides from our community.

This is a perfect opportunity to meet each other, share tips and tricks about being a Local Guide, and enjoy a wonderful Saturday lunch together.

Meetup Agenda & Details

  • Date: Saturday, 26th July 2025

  • Time: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM IST

  • Venue: Hotel Charlie, Kharvela Nagar, Unit-III, Bhubaneswar, Odisha

  • Main Activities: We will meet, eat, greet, take photos of the food and ambiance, share our experiences on Google Maps, and of course, have a great discussion.

What to Bring:

  • Your smartphone (fully charged!).
  • An appetite and a big smile!
  • Please note: All attendees will be responsible for paying for their own food and beverages.

During my brief stay in Odisha, I used to love Daal pakoda and ghugni which used to be prepared in the evening. There’s also a dish made of karela and aloo fry which went deliciously well with Daalma and rice..
