This meetup is part of @NareshDarji’s 11-year challenge, and it’s our way of celebrating friendship, food, and local pride through a winter food crawl in Valsad.
Winter in Valsad has its own magic, and at the heart of it is one world-famous traditional dish — Ubadiyu. More than just food, Ubadiyu is an experience: slow-cooked underground, rich with local vegetables, earthy flavors, and warmth that brings people together. This meetup is an open invitation to Local Guides to come together, enjoy authentic Ubadiyu, and celebrate the season the Valsad way.
Along with Ubadiyu, we’ll enjoy fresh sugarcane juice, cut some cake, share stories, laugh, and simply have a good time as a community. The focus is not just on eating, but on bonding, discovering local spots, and appreciating the culture that makes this place special.
During the meetup, we will actively contribute to Google Maps by updating photos, videos, reviews, and useful information of the places we visit. Every contribution helps travelers and locals discover Valsad through real experiences.
This meetup is about food, fun, friendship, and giving back to the map we all love. Kindly approve this meetup and let us celebrate together.
