Ramadan is a time of compassion, gratitude, and sharing blessings. Embracing this spirit, we are organizing a meaningful charity meetup under the banner of the Bangladesh Local Guides Community, focused on sharing meals with madrasa students and spreading kindness beyond the map.
This meetup will take place on February 17 at
Shreenagar Pashchimpara Forkania Hafizia Madrasa,
located in Shreenagar area, Gazaria Thana, Munshiganj District, Bangladesh.
The madrasa currently accommodates 18 residential students, guided and cared for by two teachers. Through this initiative, our aim is simple yet heartfelt—to ensure that these students can enjoy a wholesome, dignified meal together, even if it is just for one special day.
As part of this meetup, we will arrange:
One sack of rice
Adequate quantity of lentils
Cooking oil
Beef or chicken
And other necessary grocery items,
This is not a large-scale event, but a sincere effort to bring comfort, nourishment, and joy through a complete and satisfying meal.
The Inspiring Ramadan initiative was originally started by @SoniaK and her vision continues to inspire Local Guides across Bangladesh to come together for meaningful community action.

I also had the opportunity to organize a similar Inspiring Ramadan meetup last year in Munshiganj, and this event is a continuation of that ongoing commitment.

All expenses for this meetup will be covered entirely by me on a personal basis.
This initiative is not funded by Zakat, but carried out as an act of voluntary sadaqah and personal responsibility toward the community.
This meetup reflects that being a Local Guide goes beyond mapping places—it is also about caring for people and creating real, positive impact.
