Dear Local Guides Friends,

On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2025, we are once again organizing an Accessibility Meet-Up and Campaign.

Every year, we celebrate this important month through various activities with our fellow Local Guides. As Local Guides, creating awareness about accessibility and mapping accessibility information on Google Maps is one of our key responsibilities. This year as well, I sincerely hope all my fellow Local Guides will join us, just like before.

Meet-Up Agenda:
Introduction of Local Guides
What is Google Maps Accessibility
How to map accessibility features correctly
Raising awareness about accessibility rights
Updating accessibility information on Google Maps
Detailed discussion on wheelchair accessibility mapping
This meet-up will provide new participants with a great opportunity to connect with Local Guides and mappers. It is also an excellent way to learn more about the Local Guides community, improve guiding skills, and gain hands-on practical mapping experience.

Everyone who believes in accessibility, mapping, and human values is warmly welcome to join us.
