In my memories. EP.01:SINGAPORE #TBT

SA-WAS-DEE-KA

I just came back from Singapore. I am enjoyed and happy to see the new experience of traveling abroad. It made me see different cultures from my country. Transportation here are much easier and more convenient. And most importantly, there are no traffic jams. Many products here are the same as those in Thailand. The difference is that Thailand is 2-3 times cheaper. However, I still enjoyed this trip very much. In this post I will share my impressive.

Marina Bay Sands

Is an integrated resort fronting Marina Bay. The resort is owned by the las Vegas Sands. It was deemed the world’s most expensive standalone casino property.

ArtScience Museum at sunrise

Excite your senses with interactive installations, virtual reality and curated films. Immerse yourself in a world of art, science and technology.

Merlion Park

One of the most famous depictions of this iconic symbol is the statue found at Merlion Park—a scenic spot located at One Fullerton, Singapore, near the Central Business District.

Old hill police Station is one of Singapore’s Instagram-worthy places.

(formerly known as the MICA Building), home to the Ministry of Communications and Information and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, is a colonial landmark located at the junction of River Valley Road and Hill Street.

whether here or in Thailand Durian is still a rather expensive fruit, but for me, Thailand has a variety of textures for you to choose from. Or maybe it’s just because people here like soft-touch durians.

I’ve eaten a lot of Dragon Fruits since I came back to Thailand. Here you can buy them for 1kg for $3. with respect I didn’t come to complain or anything. I just want to share with you guys.

There are many Chinese food stalls for you to choose from.

Dheen Restaurant : Chicken Briyani $7,Indian food is still popular here.

I must have felt that I had not arrived in Singapore. If I didn’t eat this famous and outstanding dish here.

Hainanese chicken rice

Chicken rice, considered one of Singapore’s national dishes, excels because of its simplicity, poached chicken on white rice, served with soy sauce and chili garlic dip. The recipe and techniques to make chicken rice came to Singapore through a mix of Hainanese and Cantonese cultures.

This is the most I like and it gone to be my favorite food here.

Blue Dragonfly Minced Meat Noodle

This menu call “Mee Pok” it is springy with a seasoning mixture of vinegar and chili with lard bits. No bean sprouts though. Tastes nice. Comes with a small bowl of soup on the side with nice savory and peppery flavors. This mee pok is very likable.

This last picture was taken by a new friend from Indonesia at Fort Canning Park Tree

I just have to finish this post. There are many more pictures I would like to share. But it probably can’t end in a single post. Then we might meet again in the next post. to the beauty of this place.

@ONEONE I am actually heading to Bangkok this Wednesday until Saturday. Travelling with friends so not sure what my day to day plans are! It’s my first time visit to Bangkok! Any recommendations? Tagging @PhilipJames @Stphn @JosephDewey @SunPanupong too. Note: I’m trying my best not to cram too many things in (I’m the type that will rush around and go manic… but my friends are the type to relax and chill so there’s definitely a high risk of a clash in energy levels!!! )

Lovely post @ONEONE !

@AdrianLunsong great that you are coming to Thailand soil!

Any plans on coming to the South perhaps? We can arrange a small meetup with @PhilipJames in Phuket region perhaps. :sunglasses:

I have only been once to Bangkok and rather short. In my Thailand travel blog there are some tips about Bangkok, make sure to check that out:

As for more local tips, I think @PhilipJames can serve you better as he went there multiple times.

Oh dear, I’m so busy just reading your message. If you love being Bangkok in its own way I recommend you to walk around Talad Noi to Chinatown. There are many street food for you to try and on the way to chinatown you can visit " Wat Traimit " - Temple of golden buddha in Bangkok is known for housing a 5.5-tonne statue of a seated Buddha, very beautiful. I’m not sure where you live. Otherwise, would recommend more.
Anyway hope you guys have a good holiday here.

No worries @ONEONE ! I definitely didn’t have enough time to see everything plus my friends were focused on shopping and eating! I did go to ICONSIAM, Terminal 21, Platinum Fashion Mall, CentralWorld, The Grand Palace and had a walkabout near the Thammasat University. I have tons of photos and videos but I have no clue when I’ll have time to write a post and publish a YouTube video on them!!

@Stphn I definitely do want to go to South Thailand!! My parents are actually currently visiting Hat Yai! And I have a friend who’s set up his own business in Koh Samui too! So many places to visit!!! Oh, and the food was amazing!!
