The primary reason that I love Local Guides is to increase the community involvement at my hometown Mysore. I want to get the community more involved at places like Mysore where the general involvement of people is low. I always encourage people I know to share their experiences and media on the platform to help other people. The current involvement in 2nd tier cities like Mysuru is low and there is a need to get more guides involved.
