Most searched place in the world regarding Indian movies is the place know as MUMBAI or BOMBAY (Old Name). The first thought which comes to mind when you say Mumbai is BOLLYWOOD.
Everyone is very intrigued that how these movies are made & how it comes to life on big screen of cinema halls. People of India loves to watch movies, serials & now YouTube. It is one of the major part for entertainment in this country. We watch all kind of movies even Hollywood movies which are dubbed in Indian languages (Hindi,Tamil , Telugu).
I am one of them who loves to watch movies in cinema halls & always looking for better picture quality & awesome sound system in cinema halls which impact overall movie a lot.
Today I am going to share my experience of an IMAX screen which recently opened by a big chain of cinema halls brand INOX.
Now there are total 5 IMAX screens in Mumbai:
IMAX Wadala ,
IMAX Lower Parel ,
IMAX Thane,
IMAX Malad &
IMAX Ghatkopar.
I was very excited to watch movie on new IMAX screen which opened at Ghatkopar R City Mall.
When I reached the entrance was very beautiful & there is so much space to hangout. They have even kept video games for people who are waiting for there next show. The ambience was too good & there was a huge space.
Finally I went towards the gate of my screen & read all the technical details about the IMAX which made me even more excited. It has 4k with dolby atmos & digital laser technology.
Movie name is Dunkirk by Christopher Nolan which has its own kind of theme & direction which makes you more involved in the movie & watching it in IMAX screen was a bonus for a viewer. The overall experience is too good. The sound clarity & quality was top notch. I was very happy.
In India we have intermission in between movie, it is a kind of small break where you can go outside & have pop corns, snacks etc.
This format of interval in between movies are going since Indian cinema halls has started. All the Indian movies are made with this format in mind , before intermission & after intermission.
In India quality of new cinema halls are far better then other countries , these halls have more capacity & good sound, picture quality.
I had an awesome IMAX experience. Do experience IMAX in Mumbai whenever you visit. IMAX Wadala is a dome theater which has its own value. There very few dome theaters.
