If I travel to your country ... what places do you suggest me to visit?

Hello guys!
I just created this post because I think it is a way to share beautiful things about your places of origin. Each one of us is proud of his native country, of his food, natural attractions, but many times we do not advertise it.

The idea is that everyone recommends one or two places to visit in their country.

In my case, I’m from Peru. I suggest 2 places:

  1. Cusco. Originally the capital of the Empire of the Incas. Here you can visit many beautiful archeological sites, such as Machupicchu (wonder of the world), Pisac, Moray, Saqcsayhuaman and many more!
Here you can learn a bit more about cusco:

2. Piura. This city is located in the North of Peru, very close to the border with Ecuador. I suggest visiting the beaches, such as Mancora, Vichayito, Colan, Organos and Punta Veleros. They are beautiful. (Ernest Hemingway used to visit those beaches to relax and write novels).

And you? What do you suggest me to know about your countries?

Hi @marcorp

I will suggest you to visit Venice of course.

There are different options:

During Carnival

Exploring an unconventional Venice

Or to explore the beauty of central Italy on medieval towns, like Vallo di Nera - The Castle of the Valley

Hello @marcorp , thank you for your sharing with us more details and photos of your beautiful country. I would love to visit the beaches of Piura as you describe.

I am Italian and live in Parma (not far from Bologna and Milan). I would reccomend to visit the beautiful Rome (this town is fantastic, you will feel as back in the story with all the monuments everywhere). Florence with its important art museums and its pictoresque old town and finally the romantic Venice it’s unique in the world. You will be welcome in Parma where I will be pleased to show you the beauties of the old town and will taste together the good foods that I describe in my posts.

Thank you @Giuseppe75 for sharing those fantastic places in Italy. There is a small community of peruvians living in Italy for a while now, most of them located in Rome and Milan. I´ve never been there but I think Italy is in the bucket list of many people, including myself… I got to go one of these days!

Hi @marcorp

If you ever travel to Iran, there are many places you shouldn’t miss. However to narrow down the attractions, you can decide what you like the most. If you like to do sightseeing in historical sites, you should travel to Shiraz, Isfahan, Yazd, Ghazvin and Kermanshah first. However, there are many sites in all the provinces!

If you like nature more, you shouldn’t miss Chabahar, Gheshm, Lorestan and Gilan.

And if you like a metropolis, visit Tehran, the capital city.

If by any chance you came here, don’t hesitate to contact me for more guidance.

@HoangDang not really, Piura is in the north of Peru, very close to our neighbor country Ecuador. Cusco is in the opposite side, in the south, closer to Bolivia and Chile. Both wonderful places for sure!

@Mehrn00sh thanks for writing in this post! And yes, of course I know that Iran has a lot to offer to tourists, what really fascinates me is the culture, which is not hat similar to Latin American culture. I just took note to all the places you mention!!!
