IBS won't stop me from travelling and eating out.

Cześć,

I am Iwona and I come from Poland. I was born in a small town called Andrychów. I was always a dreamer. Since I remeber I always loved taking photos of places and people. Are you still here reading this? Well then, carry on  I trained to be a Beauty therapist as I wanted to make people happy. At 22 years old age, I decided to move to Scotland, Aberdeen. My friend helped me out at the beginning. It was hard to move to another city, not to mention to another country! Thankfully I love learning languages so I absored spoken English very quickly. Sometimes it was difficult to understand Aberdonian ;)“Fit like” etc. I visited lot of cities and started to compete with a pal on "how many airports(not cities;)we have been to. Crazy. After 7 years I decided to move back home… A step back or a need for family and roots.

I am not sure if you know what IBS is? It’s Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I love eating food, desserts, cakes , everything and anything  But because of IBS I am unfortunately limited to certain food. When I was in Scotland it was much easier to find a cafe with a lacotse free milk and gluten free cakes. It was normal. Now, when I moved back to Andrychów, I wanted to be able to enjoy a coffee with lacto free milk and gluten free cake and it turns out it’s impossible, because most of cafes don’t have it. And this is why I decided to write my reviews on google maps, to maybe give a hint to the owners, that when you ask for gluten free products or lactose free milk, they won’t

look at you like you’re following a fashion style but it’s actually because you have to.

Can you relate to this? Or do you have a similiar issue that stops you from dining out in restaurants?

Hi @stokrotka247

Thank you so much for sharing this post. I love your photos, they are so diverse! You’ve been to so many places! I’ve also visited Poland, Warsaw and Krakow and they are so beautiful.

I don’t have issues with dining out, but being a vegetarian can sometimes limit my choices a lot. In some countries/places it’s really hard to find what to eat as a vegetarian, but thanks to Google Maps, I can now search for restaurants to my preference.

Looking forward to see more stories and photos from you!
