I would like to share my instagram username.

And can I write my username on pictures and upload them on Google Maps?

My instagram is not commercial.

Tips for taking a good photo

Taking good quality photos will increase the likelihood that your photo will get published, and helps others discover the places that are just right for them. Here are a few tips:

  • Keep it useful: Make sure the photo is at the correct location, is not a selfie, and may help someone understand what the place you’re reviewing. Avoid submitting similar or duplicate photos.
  • Take clear photos: Make sure the photo doesn’t have superimposed text on it and isn’t overly edited. Try to make sure the picture is not blurry.

Hi @Anonymous_40e0c17823bad3658db6bb46e9434dc0

What you CAN do is to mention your Instagram etc in your profile text on Google Maps. Here on Connect you can edit your signature to mention your Instagram like I have inserted a link to my linktree as shown below.

You need to be able to write very simple HTML code. And no clickable links can be shown on your Google Maps profile text.

Cheers

Morten
