One of my client’s locations is a commercial area where a lot of shops are located. As you can see in the screenshot below, I wanted to know how I can mark the circled area as GC Grand Street as opposed to just marking a listing on that street? Can anyone help me out here?
This said, according to your posts it seems that you are a professional selling service in Google Maps. Local guides is a Volunteer program for individuals only. Using your Local guide account as a business is against the program rules . In this case, please close your Local Guide account
@ErmesT - I am a Local Guide(level 7), and I voluntarily help make Google Maps better in my free time and whenever/wherever I can help it. In a single scenario where getting help from the community in my day to day livelihood, should not a big issue.
Regardless, if you feel this has somehow again the community you may always put a request Google, to remove my account, I ain’t doing that.
@ErmesT is right @hptripathi Local Guides are not permitted to have business clients. A client is someone who pays you. If you are helping businesses get onto the Maps for free then that is what Local Guides are allowed to do. If you’re paid then you are not allowed to do that. You can however join the Street View trusted photographer program as they can have business clients who pay them and make edits to Maps on their behalf.
