As a Local Guide, I’ve explored countless cafés, restaurants, and attractions—but this was one of the most immersive food experiences I’ve had in Bengaluru.
The SMOOR Experience Centre isn’t just about eating chocolate. It’s about discovering how premium chocolate is crafted—from cocoa beans to beautifully finished desserts.
Some of my favourite moments:
A warm chocolate welcome drink that instantly set the mood.
Walking through the actual production facility and seeing chocolates, pastries, cakes, and desserts being prepared.
Being allowed to take photos and videos during the tour, which made it even more enjoyable for content creators.
Designing and making my own chocolate creation.
Ending the experience with delicious desserts, snacks, and cocoa-based beverages.
What genuinely impressed me was the cleanliness, food safety standards, and how passionate the team was while explaining every stage of the chocolate-making process. It wasn’t just a tour—it felt like a behind-the-scenes masterclass.
One suggestion I’d love to see in the future is providing shoe covers before entering the production area, which would further strengthen the already excellent hygiene standards.
