Ever since the dawn of time, I’ve been a big seafood fanatic. Shrimp, Crab and Fish are especially near and dear to my heart (and stomach).

Hellshire
The St Catherine beach is synonymous with good fish, lobster, conch you name it, prepared in a variety of styles. Its pretty much always crowded though and don’t even think of trying to go there on a public holiday! This is must stop for returning residents, tourists and native Jamaicans looking for some good food. Walk with cash and your appetite.
Strawberry Fields Together!
Nestled in St Mary, this little gem of a beach/rustic getaway has possibly the BEST steam fish in Jamaica. I discovered this restaurant just by the way of visiting the beach and I go back every time just for the food! Also had my very first Lionfish here and it did not disappoint. When you go, ask for Ms Jen!
Heroes Circle
Heroes Circle in Kingston is the resting place of the nation’s treasured men and women but it also houses around 3 Government agencies as well the beloved Crab vendors. Sebastian from The Little Mermaid would have no luck escaping the hot pots here. The crustaceans are PERFECTLY peppered. Grab a roast corn while you’re at it.
Gloria’s Seafood
This food is so good it needed two locations only minutes away from each other. Gloria’s in Port Royal (a former buccaneer town) is also one of those spots you just HAVE to go as a visitor, local or tourist. Always a long wait because the place is so packed but delicious array of Lobster, Fish, Shrimp, Conch all in a variety of styles. They also just opened a branch Downtown, Kingston if you can’t make the drive all the way to Port Royal.
Boston Jerk Center
Feeling jerky? Boston Jerk in Portland is known for its Pork but does an amazing job with Fish and Lobster as well. There are a few vendors to choose from and they offer SAMPLES! Try before you buy and grab some roast breadfruit while you’re at it.
