Thank you for sharing your travel experience with us, it must had been a great adventure in Egypt. How was the inside of the pyramid?, I’m always curious.
One of our fellow Google Moderator @DeniGu , went to Egypt too last month and I am sure she will have some great stories to share here with you.

Egypt was wonderful - I’m going back at some stage.
The inside of the pyramid was awesome. When you sit and reflect in the King’s chamber, you can feel the antiquity. The ancient Egyptians had such knowledge, it’s very inspiring.
The other absolute highlight was going into the tomb of Tutankhamun and also seeing his mummy which was on display in there. You can’t help but be inspired.
And how about the spectacular techniques the ancient Egyptians used to carve their hieroglyphs and images of kings, pharaohs, gods, and goddesses? Just jaw-dropping!
Yes, like you, I had always dreamed of going to Egypt so it was fantastic to be able to go.
We went to quite a few temples. Luxor, Karnak, Queen Hatschepsut, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and the Temple of Isis. They were all beautiful, but my favourite was the Temple of Edfu. That having been said, the Temple of Isis was also very spectacular, especially when you first approach it!
I think we were quite lucky when we went as tourists had not started fully going back to Egypt, and so we didn’t have huge crowds everywhere, although there were still quite a few people!
We stayed in Cairo, travelled to Luxor and boarded the cruise on the Nile and that took us three days to get to Aswan, doing tours along the way.
I didn’t get to see Alexandria or Abu Simbel so they will definately be on my list for next time!
I think I had the exact same itinerary, @DonnaWatts , just the other way around–from Aswan to Cairo! :))
The Temple of Edfu was definitely quite impressive, too. How did you reach it from the cruise ship? I got to experience the traditional local transportation method–a horse-drawn carriage.
