I love adding new locations in remote areas!

I really think that I deserve to go to the local guide connect event because my story is quite peculiar with Google Maps.
I am a lover of maps.
In my case, the use with the greatest potential that I have given to Google Maps has been in international cooperation. I collaborate with an NGO called OAN International that works in Nikki, a town in the northeast of Benin. There, thanks to Google Maps, I have located and added to the maps the locations of the hospitals, medical center, school, main markets, mosques, churches, etc., so that the local population has begun to interact with Google maps through their mobilephones, even, being far away where the basic services of the population are.
The acceptance has been very good and this year 2018 there, because Benin local people have started to register their own locations and interact with those I have created by commenting their opinions and adding pictures to the locations.
All this work is demonstrating that it has a very important teaching role, because it makes people know the use of maps, to which they are not used.
I would like to be able to tell you, in los angeles, in detail all my history and how useful Google Maps is for this and other cases.

Thank you!

As you’re new here, please review this link to help you using Connect and following the guidelines: 14 helpful tips for using Local Guides Connect. I think it will be interesting for everyone to learn more about you, so I would like to invite you to introduce yourself in this monthly post.
