I can't add photos to some places

I have tried all the methods that are mentioned for adding photos to places that do not have ‘Edit’ option. None of them worked, however.

Hello @Maen-alOmari ,

Only certain Map feature categories allow attaching photos. There is a way how you can add photos to, for example, places such as cities, countries, etc., but please note that you won’t receive any points for them. To learn how you can do that, please continue reading:

  1. Open Google Photos on your device.
  2. Select the image that you want to upload.
  3. Click on “Share” and then select Add to Maps.
  4. Afterwards select the place where you want your photo to appear =>Send or Post

Thanks for your reply. Actually, I’ve tried this method but, unfortunately, It didn’t work.

Hi @Maen-alOmari ,

User generated content in certain areas may be disabled due to legal reasons. As per Google Terms of Service, “You may use our Services only as permitted by law, including applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations. We may suspend or stop providing our Services to you if you do not comply with our terms or policies or if we are investigating suspected misconduct.”
