Please join me as I take you through the historic National Handicrafts Museum and Hastakala Academy.

About the Museum :

The National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy, celebrates the rich, diverse, and practising craft traditions of India. Situated in a large campus at the corner of Pragati Maidan, opposite the majestic Purana Qila, the museum was designed by the renowned architect Charles Correa.

Agenda :

  • Exploring the different galleries and complexes inside the museum
  • Conducting photo walk of the various exhibits
  • Checking the accessibility features of the museum
  • Sharing best practices for adding photos and videos on Maps to better aid differently abled people
  • Supporting Local businesses in and around the museum

Virtual Meet-up Tentatively Scheduled for 12:00 PM.

Things to Carry :

  • Water Bottle
  • Comfortable Walking shoes
  • Camera ( Phone camera would also work )

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket counter.

Nearest Metro Station : Pragati Maidan Metro Station or Mandi House Metro Station.
