I am inviting local guides to explore the market in my city and update information about businesses on Google Maps.

This meetup will help participants to discover new businesses, verify and update details on Maps, and become a trusted local guide.

Agenda:

:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: Update businesses by verifying information like timings, open/close status, location accuracy and put our area on the map.
:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: Add photos - capture real info and keep Google Maps accurate.
:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: Accessibility check - Check if any of these features are added for businesses and update them on Maps.

Google Maps Activities:

:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: Taking a storefront photo.
:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: Rating a Place on Google Maps.
:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: Capture a video of a shop.
:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: Add a new member to a group if possible.
:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: Write a review for a business.
:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: Accessibility feature checking.
:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: Sustainability feature at a small business.
:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: LGBT-friendly business update on Maps.
:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: A Women-Owned business update on Maps.

Equipment:

:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: Mobile phone with Google Maps app installed :mobile_phone:
:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: A poster-size print of the banner - will be provided :+1:
:japanese_symbol_for_beginner: Legend icons stamps to stick on the poster - will be provided :+1:

We will update Google Maps and note the activity number and the Plus Code of places on the poster.
