Hunder Sand Dunes & Camel Safari in the Lap of Mountains | NUBRA VALLEY Ladakh INDIA

This Place is located in Nubra Valley Ladakh (UT) India.
The Hunder is the coldest desert in India.
The sand-dunes, covered with desertious mountain :mountain_biking_man: , is breathtaking.
Sand dunes, on the bank of the river, give a spectacular view.
One can feel a different kind of experience of white desert in the lap of mountains.
These dunes attract thousands of tourists every year.

There is also a wonderful CAMEL SAFARI. Here, The camels are rare species.
These camels are not a normal camel, you had seen in the desert.
These camels have ‘‘double-humped’’ on their back.
I enjoyed the double-humped Bactrian camel safari :dromedary_camel: .

Moreover, If you have really an interest in traditional cloth. You should try their dresses and get some photos clicked. The traditional and cultural dresses give the best memories.
In winter, Temperature really goes down to minus.
Better visit in the summer season.
These sand dunes are around 1-2 km from Hunder Village.
Overall, I had a great time at this place.
I strongly recommend visiting Hunder once, if you are coming to Leh Ladakh.

Thank you for being on my post.
Lots of Love :black_heart:

Hello @RaviRaaz ,

Thank you for introducing this amazing area to us. As usual, the photos are breathtaking!

The place seem to be very far and there is almost none on the pictures. How far is the closest city from this region? Is this area famous among the tourists?

How does it feel to be on a double-humped camel?

Thank you @BorrisS for appreciating the photos!

Yeah, This place ‘‘Nubra Valley’’ is located 150 km north of Leh, the largest city in union territory Ladakh India.

So far as this place is concerned, this is quite a famous place, not in Ladakh only but in India.

Ladakh is a dream trip for every Indian.

Thousands of tourists come every year.

Let me tell you one thing also, Here, the climax of Movie ‘‘MISSION IMPOSSIBLE FALLOUT’’ has been shot.

What we feel on a single-humped camel ride, the same is felt on the double-humped camel!

It is a very amazing feeling, when you ride a camel on these sand dunes with mountains covered by ice under a beautiful blue sky. :hugs:
