When I try to add a new pin it is often good to do a search to see if it already exists. But I really would like to know if there is a shortcut or trick to get all pins in a very much zoomed in part of the map to show up. Often there are a few pins that are not shown even when I’m zoomed in all the way. I guess the main problem is when some pins are placed directly on top of each other. And then only one random one is visible.
Anyone who know how to solve this? I can do the hard work of manually moving each pin to s better location. But it takes too much time to wait for moves to get accepted and implemented.
As @SaifIS said right now we cannot do anything that’s going to reveal all the pins in a particular location and we just have to search for it before adding it to maps.
Also those pins that of visible to you are not on random basis and they are shown based on your search activity or those places for a little more popular than the other places around that location you are searching for
Imagine if we keep zooming in and then stacked pins would be shown one after the other. Or what if there was a graphic indication that more than one pin is hiding under a pin.
Should we try to get the moderators to bring such a suggestion to the developers?
Yes @MortenCopenhagen you can always post your ideas in the idea exchange section and if the moderators feel it to be valid they will open it for voting and will be implemented if that post gains a lot of people’s votes and interest . But it will take time for sure
I recently discovered a somewhat usable workaround for this. If you enter a street name and streetnumber you get a list of all businesses at this address. This usually shows me more pins than trying to zoom in on the map. Hope this could be helpful for others too.
