This may be hijacking @Avishek08 's post and perhaps should be separated into its own post but anyway I’m not clear, and I’m sure that others will similarly be unclear, on how to share or use photos from photos.google with Connect posts so as to avoid the 1000 photo limit. For example, the following step is not clear to me:
Tap Type a name, phone number, or email or select people to share with. If you’re part of a family on Googlewith at least 2 other people, select Family group to share with your family members.
Also, how does one do this from desktop?
Regarding my opening comment, why not turn this into a separate How-To
What you show as an example is part of Google for families, not related to Connect nor to Sharing photos on Connect (maybe, as your post has been moved, I am simply missing something)
As far as I can understand, this post was originally a reply to another post, that has been separated by @InaS because not related, or just partly related, to the issue mentioned by Avishek08 on his post
Hello @ErmesT and thank you for the reply but funnily I cannot find the post by @InaS Do you know where it is,perhaps a direct link to the post would help.
@InaS Thanks for the detail explanation with photo. As I am new to google connect I just want to know little more. Should I share the link in the body of the text. I did paste the link of one of my photos from google link and in preview mode, it is not showing the photo but the link. Does it mean it will show the photo after publishing the post? I also tried to insert photos through the Photos option. I copied the link and paste that in URL section but it is not accepting URL and saying need to write complete URL. Please advise.
You’re welcome. About your question, you should paste the link in the body text. The photos will not show in the post, it will still be a link, and Local Guides should click to see them.
Hope my answer clears your questions, if not please feel free to reach out.
