In this post you will learn how to rename a Street View photo so the name and a not the default location. First, locate the photo you want to rename. Then go in your Google Maps app and go to contribute, click view profile, then click all photos, then find the desired photo. Click it, click •••, then click add caption. Make a name, you’re done!

Please use the dedicated section on streetview photography. I’m sure they will assist you.

Hi @MortenCopenhagen @I was not trying to ask for help, I was trying to give help. Thank you for the advice.

Sorry, @TheNickster562
My mistake.
But still I think it would fit better in the streetview section.
All the best
Morten
The described option to give my own Fotos / Panospheres a caption is not longer there. Seems, google has removed this option.
I also can’t find a way to assign the photo to an existing object in Google maps.
I shoot panospheres with my google phone and import them to the streetView app. Doing this I have no chance to give a caption / title or assignment too.
how can i still do this afterwards?
Thanx, TS
