Hello everyone,
I’m struggling with removing an incorrect place from the Google Maps, I leave nearby and this just annoying me a lot. It’s a big hypermarket chain (Auchan) and for some reason there’s a point in my town where it shows one of these hypermarkets on the map where there’s nothing like this and never was. Another detail is that in the address field it appears in a different place and this place is an actual point of existing hypermarket. So it’s kind of duplicate with broken location.
I tried to contribute in a different ways to correct this place: remove duplicate, change an address, change the marker on the map. But all my change requests are getting declined.
I think this is important because it misleads lots of people and makes them hate Google Maps which I think are awesome. There’re 26 reviews saying mostly that this place doesn’t exist and it’s seen at the street view that nothing there, but the place is still there.
What else can I do? I’ll be really happy with any feedback from you guys. Thank you very much!
