There are several ways the get into the hearth of the city. Let’s see these options:
- Taxi. Taxi is the easiest way to get into the centre. They are parking in front of the Airport, therefore it is not so hard to catch one. But you have to know this is the most expensive way. So if you would like to spend that money on other things Taxi is not the best option for you.
- Airport Bus. The local transport system has a special “express” bus going between the airport and the centre. Line number 100E costs 900 HUF , and you have to know if you buy a 24 hour ticket or any other ticket, they won’t accept on this bus, because it is a special one. It goes to Deák Ferenc tér, where you can reach 3 metro lines, buses and trams. The bus stop is in front of the airport.
- Airport bus 2. The second airport bus is not an “expess” one, therefore you can use it with your ticket which you bought from the tickets machines. The 200E is going to Kőbánya-Kispest metro station where you can transfer to the metro and then you can reach the centre. This bus has a few more stops, but if you are not in a hurry the cheapest way to reach the hearth of Budapest.(If you have a 24 hours ticket or weekly ticket or 1 ticket and +1 for the transfer) The
