I can see that many common users use Google Maps to their benefit to add their own fake pins
Shared above is a screenshot of a location I was checking and found so many residency pins, e.g., Raghu’s Villa, Raghunatha Reddy Apartment, Thirumalesha Residency, chikkannamma devi building are all pins that users clearly add to take advantage of the Google Maps platform for their own benefit
And almost all are fake, e.g., Pooja Manjula is just a name, the same goes for RCB XOXO, which is a cricket team, and was added just to make their life easy
Adding these types of fake pins is useful for delivery app purposes, where they can search for these names and get their need satisfied
How can one combat issues like this to make Google Maps clean of unwanted pins, suggestions welcome
