🌐 How to Install Local Guides Connect (or Any Website) as an App on Your Phone

Actually, there’s no official app, but you can easily make it work like an app using your Chrome browser on mobile. Here’s how I did it:

Steps:

1. Open Chrome browser on your phone.

2. Go to localguidesconnect.com.

3. Log in with your Google account.
   

   

4. Tap the 3-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.

5. Select “Add to Home screen” (or in Khmer: បន្ថែមទៅផ្ទាំងដើម).
   

   

6. Tap Install when prompted.
   

   

Now you’ll see the Local Guides Connect icon on your home screen — just like a real app! You can open it anytime, and it feels just like using an app.

This works for many websites, not just Local Guides. Give it a try and make your favorite sites easier to access!

Thanks for sharing @SophatCHY . Just want to add, for Chrome in iOS devices it’s a bit different. We need to tap on the share icon on the top right corner of the page to see the “Add to Home Screen” option. Clicking on the 3 dots will not show the option.
