One of the things that motivates me to continue on my Google Maps journey is the assistance it provides local businesses, i.e.: mom and pop businesses, who sometimes have a hard time competing against larger competitors. So I will go up and down side streets, looking for businesses that I believe might not have a strong presence on Google maps. While there I check out their presence on Google maps and if it is limited, I will go in and take some pictures and then take some additional pictures from the outside. The photos I have attached is an example of a small auto body shop that if you drove by, you would not know what it was but you could easily harbor a guess, of course. I like to go back and check the amount of views that photo(s) has received and that lets me know that my efforts may have made a little bit of a difference for them since I made those posts. For me that is a great motivator.
Great experience. Thanks for sharing. I love doing exactly the same.

Love to see what motivates me also motivated you, @RBGmilw.
No greater feeling than a business saying thank you or a friend trying a new place because of my photo or review!
