Local Guides in India love to dine out and share their experiences on Google Maps. Whether you’re eating with one friend or sitting down with the whole family, the hardest part can be choosing the right restaurant.
Reviews and photos help to make that decision easier, but the cost can be important too. In Delhi, Mumbai, and several other major cities in India, you can use the Google Maps app on Android to discover discounts offered at local restaurants—making it even easier to decide where to eat.

What a great new feature in those cities, @AriMar !
I can’t wait to see this rolled out in more markets. Great for business owners and diners alike! Also, perfect for tourists in India who need help in picking from all the options. Thank you for sharing.
This is a great feature @AriMar . I didn’t even know it existed. Now all they need to add is a ‘spicy’ or heat indicator for the food and I’ll be set . I really hope they roll out this function in other areas too. It would be great in Cairns. I’d use it as a local!
@AriMar This feature is so cool. When will this feature be available in Thailand? If so, I can use the discount as an excuse to eat at my favorite restaurant. Thank you for sharing this news with us.
I have used Google maps to scout through so many big and small food joints in and around Mumbai. I just recently shifted out from India so I’m going to miss out making the most of this. Probably when I’m visiting Mumbai again! Thank you Google!
