My idea is this: let small or very small businesses be displayed on Google maps. And it will be very easy to add them; You have moved to my impressions section, scroll down and add a company next to the icons to add or confirm information. You will need to find the location of the company on the map by clicking on the place where it is located. REQUIRED: add a photo and working hours.
This will help many people who can not find some kind of company they need.So it’s good for people and Google maps, because people calmly found the right place for them, and Google is the ONLY who was able to provide them with this information. This will make Google maps incredibly popular.
I’m not sure what you mean, @user_not_found , but to me it seems like what you are asking is already available: you can add any business on Google maps no matter if it is small or big. And those business can also do this themselves by using Google My Business. You can listen to an episode of the LetsGuide Podcast to find out more about that.
As @JanVanHaver said, this function exist and is one of the activity that Local Guides do every day. For more information on hot to use it, from the Google Maps help you can find: Add a missing place to the map
As already pointed out by @ErmesT and @JanVanHaver , adding new businesses to the map, is an essential part of what Local Guides do.
As a reminder, Idea Exchange is the section of Connect where Local Guides share their ideas toward making Google Maps or the Local Guides program even better. You can read more about it in How do I use the Idea Exchange?
I’m letting you know that I have moved your post to the How-tos section where it fits better.
