Are you a crazy LGC addict like me? Yes? That’s something the Google Moderators will be overjoyed to hear.
Here’s what you can do on your Android phone:
Step1: Open Chrome browser, go to www.localguidesconnect.com , log in
Step2: Click on the 3dot menu icon, Select “Add to Home Screen ”
Step3: Type in the name as: Local Guides Connect
Step4: Icon preview will be generated. Click Add Automatically or you can hold and drag the icon where you want it.
Done: You will now have a nice LGC icon on your phone and you can one-tap to enter Connect directly
If you use an iPhone, then I recommend you purchase an Android phone. There is a very nice Google Pixel model available on the Google Store =p

Well, that’s a way to have some kind of Local Guides Connect App on your phone
It’s kindof a webapp, but not entirely so as the backend doesn’t fully support it. Android has certain criteria and it doesn’t look like LGC qualifies. Hint to the google staff =)

With iPhone you can do the same with Safari:
Open Safari .
Find a page you wish to save.
Tap the “Share” button.
Tap Add to Home Screen .
Change the name, then tap Add .
And I’m waiting about both presentations of new Pixel 3 (9th October) and new iPhones too (12th September) !
