Google has started many campaigns and services globally in public interest. It is well known that the field of digital technology is constantly developing. Google Map is an open platform where people share their experiences of any place by writing pictures or through videos.
Google Connect has brought these people together as a community. Now this community includes people of all thoughts, beliefs, different trends, etc. There is neither time nor need to read everyone’s mind because there are many people with healthy minds, many with guilty minds and many with dirty minds.
Why has Google Connect not given us this facility of blocking? So that we can give preference to those who understand us and we can block dirty minded people from communicating, Connect moderators are also local guides and may be biased, which is unethical.
No one can stop a fair environment and freedom of free expression. Moderators sometimes behave as employers though all sharings remain selfless.
The standing instructions are applicable to everyone. Therefore, free and healthy thoughts should be encouraged.

We’re so sorry if anyone has harassed you in anyway. We leave in a free and liberal world. Everyone is free to live and express their thoughts and actions as long as it doesn’t infringe on other people’s rights. Connect is meant to be the same way as well.
Regarding connect moderators,we’re in no way employees of Google. I will not like to be because I’m too busy with my real life activities and work. We are local guides like you and others,only that we often help more and interact more. It will be wrong and against the ethics of the program to present ourselves as employees of Google.
Lastly,please feel free to report any misconduct of local guides(connect moderators included) I believe the team will take it up. Once again,apologies for any harassment and misconduct.

On the alternative you could use the ignore users function. You’ll find that in your settings.
I haven’t ever used it so I can’t tell for sure how it works. Nevertheless try it out and see if necessary

I truly appreciate your free thinking. But it is so and I want to convince myself and then make my presence felt in the community. It becomes impossible to face these facts and hence everything becomes meaningless.
If the same person repeatedly tries to disturb me under the influence of someone with dirty minds, then it is unfair. If anyone is hurt, then I have no problem in keeping distance from such people.
The posts that you merged of mine may be the same in your view, but one was about the worship to be done at the same place and the other was about the importance of that place. Hence both were different.
I have no complaint against you and you have proved through your free thinking that you have a clean heart.
