How to add murals and architecture location's

How to add art or architecture places to see that are not on google? A wall mural, painting, or a architectural sight needs a way to be tagged so people can see and review. Thing like this are part or history people miss.

Hi @Raptor95662

I’m not sure if your question is referring to the building or the art on the wall of the building in your photo example, perhaps you are referring to both. However, what I find best to do is to add this while I am at the location. So now that the location is determined, then the next important questions are the name of the Place of Interest and the correct category and examples of this could be Tourist attraction or Historical landmark. However, I think it’s important that what you are wanting to add is a bona fide Place of Interest and thus worthy of being on Maps and I don’t think it would be appropriate to add any random sign or graffiti I see on some random building! For example, ask yourself, is it really a tourist attraction or is it really a historical landmark? Would others benefit from your adding this on Maps? Would you be happy if someone else added it to Maps and you used that to find and see it yourself? We all have to be critical about what we add on Maps and should not be adding photos or places just to gain points! We need to think about the quality of the information that it would provide by having this place on Maps.

Fair enough answer. What about my other question of items offroad that would answer yes to your criteria? There are things in the wild that only offroading see and meet the criteria.

Hi @Raptor95662 ,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I will move your post to our How-tos board, where Local Guides ask questions and express their doubts. You can learn more about Connect’s labels in this article.

Hi @Raptor95662

There is another and new category which could be used for significant buildings and grafitti art pieces: Cultural landmark.

Adding each and every piece of graffiti would not be helpful to Maps users.

Cheers
