You are not able to add villages on Google Maps. You can send Feedback in Maps and choose the Other Feedback option to explain that the village is missing. For more information about this I recommend you to take a look at this article: Steps to send us feedback.

So I encourage you to report village as missing, but hope you understand that it might take time to be published.

Lastly, I am going to move your post to How-tos section since it fits better there!

In Bangladesh there is some village which is not found in Google map. How can be added in Map in terms of area. I know we can add missing place but can not add whole area.

Hello @msshahid ,

There are certain items in Google Maps that you cannot edit and these include landmarks, established points-of-interests or even the names of a city/township - Only Google can edit these although you can always send feedback and suggest your changes through Google maps.

To send feedback you can follow the steps listed in this article - Steps to send us feedback There choose the Other Feedback option to explain that the village is missing.

I tried to add a village in the area near my City but edit is still pending. I added the place while beige at the spot and shared photos but in vain.

How did you edited it?

Towns, roads and squares are elements of the Map Layer. Local Guides cannot edit that layer. Only Google Maps team can.

What we can do, for helping the team, is to report an error on Google Maps, through the ā€œsend a feedbackā€ that you will find scrolling down your menu on Google Maps.

In relation to your inquiry, just yo let you know that adding villages/towns on Google Maps is not possible.

for adding roads you should follow the same procedure that I shared to you on your previous post.

  1. I failed to add my village name on google maps as there is no Category like village or landmark in ā€œAdd a missing placeā€ sectionā€¦ Does anyone know how to add your village / landmark to maps?

Hello @RishadRishu ,

I would like to inform you that there are certain items in Google Maps that you cannot edit and these include landmarks, established points-of-interests or even the names of a city/township.   • Find the location in question on the map.
  • Click the hamburger icon ā˜°.
  • Click Send feedback.
  • Choose your relevant feedback.

@FelipePK So there is no way to add the name of rural villages that are missing in google maps. Do i sounds correct?

Please check again the post above and you will see that it is possible, however only Google can do it. =)
