Hello, i would like to know an actually working way, to report wrong directions that google gives at my clients that visit my property. I have reported not once not twice but three times the same wrong directions, but it seems that nothing changes. I would like to point that iam the owner of the business on google maps aswell.
So here is a screen shot that explains the problem.
Google suggests two rutes to my place, the one that is highlighted by google as best rute leads to a dead end The black lines that i drew are two gates that are on the way, and the yellow ââcircleââ is the private property. I would like people to take the second rute at my place which is the main road. Probably when google passed by with the van for the street view the gates were open and they didnt realise that it was private.

You have to use the send feedback option. On the phone in the new UI, you will find that on click to your profile in Help and feedback. Select add or fix road, next road is private and then mark the section.
After that, you can add the screenshot here and tag a Google Moderator so as to expedite the action.
That is indeed really annoying @MarioCako , and only when you experience something like this do you realize how many people rely on Google Maps for navigation.
Some additional questions:
Have you claimed your business? That would perhaps not help in this specific case, but it is a good thing to do in general (as you donât mention which one of the map entries your business is, I clicked around a bit and noticed that most places were not claimed
How long are your attempts to report this ago? You have to be aware that these request land on a long list and that it often takes weeks or even months before they get processed.
Good evening @JanVanHaver and thanks for the reply. The first attempt was made about a year ago by my brother and the rest from me in mid-July if I remember correctly. My brothers report was made by his personal profile, and the rest of the reports by me. My property is the one called GEM Hotel and Residences.
Ok, thanks for the feedback @MarioCako . If the reporting happened that long ago already, thatâs obviously not a âwait-until-they-get-to-your-issue-on-the-listâ case (but we do see cases here where people say things like âit was reported 3 days ago and itâs still not fixed!â - hence the question).
Allow me to tag Google Moderator @sonnyNg as he might be able to escalate this to the appropriate team. And you could also report the issue on the Maps help forum in case you did not do this already. Apart from that Iâm afraid that local guides wonât be able to help you a lot (as indeed the road feedback option is not available in Albania).

I am posting again about the same issue as it was reported to me from one of my guests that google maps directed them to a dead end. That caught me by surprise as this issue had more than two years that has been resolved with the help of the community. I am kindly asking again @sonnyNg , @JanVanHaver and @C_T if it is possible to have again a look at my issue as this is causing me so many headaches.
@MarioCako weird that this issue was solved for 2 years and then returned. Perhaps someone accidentally restored an old backup? Just kidding, of course.
