After Wordsworth no one raised the issue of this nice flower to me. I also thought that to pass in the exam only this flower was needed. But you raised the issue after more than 45 years to me and thank you for that@CaterinaOS., beacuse I am realy happy to see these nice flowers.
Best.
@shantanu-kaizen I am glad that issue is solved.
Sangat indah sekali
@CaterinaOS ,Beautiful daffodils!!!
@CaterinaOS Jaka piękna kolekcja!
Uwielbiam wszystkie!
A kiedy na nie patrzę,to słyszę jak Freddie Mercury śpiewa:
When one thousand and one yellow daffodils stand front of you
May be want to tell you something…
pozdrawiam Danuta.
Oh, @user_not_found
thanks for the wonderful reminder of Queens!!
Спасибо! Я не знала, что есть разные виды нарциссов, однако это так метафорично для людей и я могу взять это в свою работу.
@CaterinaOS Beautiful flowers - thanks for making me read that poetry again - sharing with you too…
I Wondered Lonely as a Cloud
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
@Indira_IllathuVala thanks for sharing with me this beautiful poem. I have read about the classical author, but didn’t have a chance to read his writing.
@CaterinaOS actually I have to thank you and @shantanu-kaizen for giving me the inspiration to go back to William Wordsworth and read his beautiful poem which he wrote in 1804. Thanks .
I love them!!! @CaterinaOS your pictures are awesome!
Seems, I can smell aroma…
Daffodils are the best spring flower for me!
