How many Kremlin in Russia.

Dear local guides today I would like to answer the question local guide @Austinelewex How many Kremlin in Russia and what does the Kremlin mean.

Really in Moscow one Kremlin on the heart of Moscow-Red Square.

Izmailovo -is modern complex for tourists, which tells about Russian culture and traditions. We also call it Izmailovo Kremlin.

The Kremlin in Russia in ancient times was called a walled city.Kremlins were usually made of stone. The Kremlin is usually the Central part of the city, surrounded by stone walls, and which had to be defended. The Kremlin is a kind of fortress city. The first Kremlin appeared in Veliky Novgorod in 1044. The Moscow Kremlin is the largest Kremlin. The total area is 27 hectares. How many Kremlins are there in Russia-12.But in the Moscow region there are 9 Kremlins.
The Kremlin in Kolomna is the largest Kremlin in the Moscow region by area. The Kremlin wall in Kolomna is 2 km long, 4-5 m wide, and 20 m high. The Kremlin was built 1525-1531.There are 2 active monasteries, a Cathedral complex, and several streets where people still live.
You can watch my list on Google Maps about Kremlin in Russia and in Moscow region.

Hello dear @Sophia_Cambodia

I would like to answer to your question ----

In ancient times, the Cream served as a fortress city and the high walls of the Kremlin protected it from enemies. Now in the modern world, the Kremlin in different cities serves as a Museum, as a history from the past, because the architecture of the Kremlin in different cities is unique. In Moscow, the Kremlin used to house the government, now it is the territory of unique museums.

Thank you @Stphn for your comment.

Sure local guides and people in the world know a little about Unknown Russia.

We also, local guides know little about others countries in the world. And I think our task --tell more about own country, national culture, traditional local cuisine, and customs and traditions of own country.

Thank you for watching my post.

Best wishes from Russia.
