Well, I cannot imagine another way to plan a trip without consulting Google Places reviews and especially the photographs, for me Google Places it is one of the main tools to organize my day to day and for a trip it is essential, recently I went to a wonderful place called Mirador Cuatro Palos, in the state of Queretaro Mexico.
It all starts with a simple search of the place, things like where to stay, where to eat and especially at what time it is better to visit the place, and this is where I found a lot of information in the reviews of the Local Guides, it is very important to read the reviews myself I suggest to read at least 8 and from there make a decision, the photographs are also important since this way you can realize that since the photos were taken by users you know that they are not passed through computer filters and have more credibility.
I had heard something about this place but because it was not as popular as Peña de Bernal also in Queretaro, there was not much information but thanks to Google Places I found not only photos but comments on how to get there with many tips on more things like what else to see around that place.
Queretaro like other states in Mexico offers wonderful places to appreciate, but without the help of Local Guides it would be very difficult to find up-to-date information especially for the photos, for me it is very important to see the images and from there plan what type of photos I want to take and contribute with my own vision of the place and help more users, also as a reference for people who are on the other side of the world I share through Google Maps the places offered by the country where I live.
At the end of the trip I had the opportunity to make my review of the place to comment, here a copy of my review: “Awesome place! besides to get there morning early at dawn you have to consider the weather if you want to see the espectacular clouds, the ones you can see in the photos I took, I was so lucky hope you can catch it too”.
