I am a proud level 8 Google local guide from the Guwahati city of India. I still remember my journey of Google local guide, it started accidentally about a year ago when Google map sent me a push notification to upload my photos on the Google map. Slowly I learned the tips and tricks of the Google map application and it became one of my favourite application.
I am a travel enthusiast and I love to share my stories through the photos and reviews on google maps. Adding new places to the Google map, writing the first review of a restaurant or business and uploading the first photo of a place really excites me. I believe that my small contribution of today on the Google map might be a great help for someone tomorrow.
I love adding missing places on the Google map whenever I went to a restaurant or a tea stall or any business/place which are not on the Google map and I really enjoy doing this because I think my this act will going to help someone in future in various ways.
Here, I am gonna share a real story. About a month ago, a friend of mine after returning from her solo trip to Shillong city of India, thanked me for my reviews and photos on the Google map as it helped her to decide what to visit and to make crucial choices during his trip to Shillong. This was really a proud moment of me.
I believe that every small contribution on the Google map is helping someone to find the desired place, exploring the world or in making better and informed choices.
