How do you like your coffee?

Good morning,

How do you like your coffees? I like mine Latte or coffee with steamed milk.

Hi @Nuhuu ,

Thanks for the nice coffee photo!

Did you prepare it or you bought it? I like my coffee to be with almond milk or cocoa milk and I like to drink it at home as it’s most delicious for me when I make it.

You can see below a photo of mine with almond milk from this morning:

Hi @PoliMC ,

No I didn’t make it, I got served at an International Conference. But I usually make it myself at home, I don’t have a working Espresso so I brew my grounded coffee using a kettle and I froth with whole milk because it is cheaper here.

Beautiful photo you got there! I tried using soy milk but it ended up curdling my mug and it didn’t froth as I wanted. Are you a vegan for using almond milk or it’s just preference because I learnt it curdle in coffee too.

This morning I tried a mix of two different teabags in a single cup:

Hi @dedontech

Yes I am Croc City based. Welcome to Connect. Nice to meet you!

Hi @Nuhuu ,

Thanks for your reply!

I’ve tried with soy milk as well but didn’t like it. Most delicious is with cocoa and almond milk. It doesn’t curdle when I put it. I am not a vegan, I am just avoiding to consume cow milk and that’s why I am using almond milk.

Thanks for the nice photo! It looks you had a great breakfast this morning! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @PoliMC ,

Thanks for the new suggestions!

I will try the cocoa with the almond milk. This confinement is giving us liberty to try our new things, uhm you seem like a coffee lover too.

Yes I did, thank you. There’s enough time to properly prepare breakfasts these days.

Cheers!

Hi @SholaIB

Nice to meet you. Don’t mention, it’s a pleasure to always help and I am glad I was able to and it was helpful.

BtW, how is Ghana?

Hi @Nuhuu ,

You are welcome!

Yeah, it’s better when you try it out! I am a coffee lover and I love to try a new coffee wherever I am traveling. The best coffee that I drank was in Italy. It was incredibly delicious! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @PoliMC ,

I will surely try it out and I could tag you when I do. Great coffee lovers, I guess that’s makes the two of us! The best coffee I have had was in Ras-al-Khaimah, UAE. The aroma was absolutely soothing.

I try chai too and I have had wonderful experiences. The best I have had was with some bedouins in North Eastern Nigeria while traveling that area.

Hi @Nuhuu ,

Thanks for your reply!

It sounds amazing that you’ve been to UAE. Where exactly have you been? I think that there the coffee might be better than this in Italy but will see one day when I visit the country.

I’ve never tried chai but want to and I think it’s a must-try. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @PoliMC ,

Thanks for your reply!

I ran a uni program in the UAE so I had opportunity to visit serval places. I’m well traveled there. I have been to all their 7 states except for Fujairah and Al-Ain. Including borders of Oman :oman: and I know they really have great coffee shops both local and international. But I can’t compare with Italy because I have never been there. But I have tried their food and drinks.

P.s we have a restaurant, Little Italy, serving Italian delicacy in my city. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @Zino ,

Thanks for you reply, this looks beautiful!

It looks easy I hope it truly is haha. Oh that’s nice I like mocaccino too, I buy those bottled mocha frappuccino in here in Kaduna, i never tried the actual one I hope they scent the same.

It is quite easy to make @Nuhuu . I shared a recipe here on Connect. Bottled and actual coffee are quite similar but freshly brewed always tastes better!

Hi @Nuhuu ,

Thanks for your reply!

It’s so nice that you’ve lived there for a while as you learned probably a lot about their culture.

I’ve heard also that the coffee is very delicious there but I haven’t tried as well so hopefully one day I will compare them. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @PoliMC ,

Thank you for your reply!

I have really learnt a lot there and I would say I have had my own fair share of exposure which I always love to share.

Yes one day, hopefully. Don’t forget to share your experience when you do please. Hopefully one day I’ll try the Italian coffee in Italy too. :slightly_smiling_face:
