Hi everyone! I’m Laurent as you can noticed it ! Actually I started this with an topic before but I think didn’t explained it fully or not detailed it.
First of all I don’t know how those drawings ( especially railroad drawings) are managed by Google map app …
I just noticed that at some point in my area those draws are wrong ( or just don’t Match) …
I’ll add some screenshots for nuances ..
And I’m asking myself if someone noticed it also around him !? And if it’s the case please share the way we could interfere and correct it
And why not if someone has an idea how to do it or if someone else has done it once ..thanks in advance!..
You can not edit railroads on Google Maps. They are on the base layer where only Googlers can make changes.
If you have proper (official) documentation you can try to get one og the volunteer product experts of the Google Maps Support Forum to escalate it to the Googlers. But don’t get your hopes up too high. It is not very easy to meet their need for official documentation.
Product experts cannot assist with transit data errors. Google displays the data as provided. You will need to contact the relevant transit companies/authorities and ask them to correct their data feeds. The Product Expert who responded to a similar topic wrote the same thing.
You are 100% correct where the railroads are provided by the transit company/authorities, @MuratY
Reaching out to your transit companies/authorities is then an option to consider, @Laurent. But I fear it can be a lot of work with a low success rate.

Thanks for your assistances and for your kind words! Me myself I’m doubting on it .. telling myself that it would be an 3D image printing or displaying to draw those railroads …but as explained I’ve took notes.. thanks once again Mr @MortenCopenhagen
Actually those drawings shows railroad wright!?
The green part which covers the drawing ( railroad) is an regional golfing ground in our area…and normally the railroad is far from it not at it’s middle as it’s display on the Google map app..and it’s the same at other point like this ( wrong display of the railroad)…

First of all those railroads in my area are historical which give them a privilege to be as old as our first world war ( it’s pity to state It but those railroads are old ) add to the fact even the product expert provide an Data do those are matching our modern policies and parameters!? That’s a question…I think that that’s why they have an error displaying..
But Mr @MortenCopenhagen has shown me up some steps to follow..I’ll try them out and see what happens or how it will works out thanks!
Those grey areas are building outlines. They are generated automatically in many places. This can lead to inaccuracies. Next time Google buys new airal photos or satellite photos, these will be updated again. They do not disturb the navigation so I would not bother about inaccurate building outlines. We can’t edit building outlines, but the product experts on Maps Support Forum can escalate serious issues with building outlines.
I think your ideas tips down could be helpful for someone in the following..
So as I should try something to get in though ,especially your directives .I’ve tried to reach out our local company owner of those railroads .I had a conversation with the related agent.
Then I was surprised, he doesn’t even know if those update line direction exist ( the one they had since years which is seems useful) that’s the one the they keep…as the engine could reach their points without any disturbance it’s ok for them .

I just think to leave it there as the line is an industrial one by now ,they could keep it until google update it when it’s more visible or the company itself update it’s desks latter for maybe other purposes..

If the employee you talked to could not care, it might be tine to step it up a bit. If you can find 1 or 2 examples that are important to get fixed for Maps users you could write to the communications department of the rail company, alternatively the head of the company. And make clear the problems the outdated tracks lead to. And if none of this works, it might be tine to test if a local newspaper or TV station would care to pick this story up.
Always stay polite and points to facts.
Also, please evaluate honestly if this is worth the effort.

I don’t know in which country you live. This about being an activist and fight to get things changes is a welcome and appreciated activity in my country/culture. It might not be in your. Be careful as needed.
Yeah! I’ve took notes Mr @MortenCopenhagen .. thanks for warning me .. I’ve to state that Abou the last visit the agent where not comfortable with my inquiries..I noticed that.. till he asked me who has sent me .!? And when I told him that I’m an local guide…
His questions was who cares about those informations..!?
And his Last words was if I want to go to their manager he could help so ( as he were felt disturbing) ..at the same time asking me if I think the manager would accept me for those inquiries..!?

But I still telling to myself to reach out the manager and hear what he has also as argument… could I ask you what you think Mr @MortenCopenhagen ?
Well, your challenge is likely to find, describe and illustrate some hard hitting examples of why the railroads need to be drawn more precisely.
Think: how can thus become an interesting news story that local media will love. Th more important examples the higher are your chances of success. Maybe emergency services can get delayed if there is a fire in “this” house.

As promised a Days ago I returned to the office regarding our issue!
Then they kindly let me know that I need to follow process in order to get audience for the manager office and meet him..I get registered which concern my phone lines, email adresse,why I need to meet him and so on…
Unfortunately I regret to say that its the sixth day getting end today without their return ( their answer regarding my registration ..
)
Just share the update here..
Truly I started doubting on their return but we never know maybe they will reach me out.. in case it happens I’ll let you know too..
