I blurred out the reply just to keep it private as I do not wish to draw attention to any specific place. But All replies to my reviews I cannot see. Therefore I am wondering if there is an issue. I was not sure where to post this so hopefully it goes to the right place. Hopefully someone can help.
Edited to add: I still get emails when a business replies to a review. This issue has only been for a few days and I just happened to notice while scrolling through Google Maps. I have added more information below. Thanks again!
Thank you @ErmesT for your reply. Unfortunately, for me, my reviews start 3 years ago. So no matter how far back I go, I am unable to see any of the replies. I appreciate you looking into this. Is there anything else I should do further for assistance? Or should I just wait at this point? Thank you so much.
When someone posts a reply the reviewer gets an email notification. I believe you are not getting even that and that’s surprising. The email becomes a trigger to have a look at the reply.
I do receive the emails when a business replies to me. This issue has only been active for a few days. I noticed this happening roughly 4 days ago. As I was scrolling though my reviews on Google Maps, it appeared that a review I had a reply on disappeared. I thought that was strange and as I kept on scrolling through many reviews, I noticed more and more were not showing up for me. (I should have mentioned that in my original post).
If I go back to my emails and click on “See reply” it will bring me to the reply in the Google Mapsapp.
I can’t see the owners reply in the Android app.
Nevertheless, I can see that in the web version of Maps on the desktop and also Maps through a browser on the Phone in desktop mode. Nevertheless, the functionality to view that in the standard app has to be there.
@C_T , I agree with you also. My findings are the same that it is only in the Android app but I can still see it on browser. So it appears to be app specific at this point.

My mobile app version (beta version) is version 10.46.1
updated on July 14th. I am unable to go back to a previous version as I am in the beta program.
I am using an android and that is updated to Android 9
I have found some new information. Yesterday, I received a reply to one of my reviews and I just happened to stumble across it in the google Map app. But how? Even I was confused. I had a hard time repeating the steps to find the reply. However, I was able to figure it out. I will try to include a video.
I also waited all day yesterday and into this morning for an email from Google telling me that there was a reply, but no email ever came. Something from the last update messed up something because I also know that someone liked one of my reviews (a different review), I got a push notification on my phone, but was never sent an email. Again, I usually do get these emails, but I have not since the July 14th update.
Basically, the only way I am able to review a reply, is if I first go to my Photo contributions and then click on the business name of the place.
@C_T I hope this helps and I apologize if I am making it hard to follow. I have no idea how I got this deep into this issue.
Normally, we should be able to see the reply from everywhere however, we can only see the replies to our own reviews by clicking on the photos and clicking on the business. But this is only applying to our own reviews. If I were to go to another local guides profile, I would be able to see all of the reviews and replies. It is only from our own POV that we cannot see the replies like we should be able to. I am hoping someone else can confirm that they have had a reply to a review and have not received an email since the last update.

I was wondering if there has been any update since I have last brought it to your attention? It has been several weeks and there still is no change in Google Maps. I still cannot see replies to reviews unless doing the steps I mentioned above. I can also confirm it has been several weeks since I have received an email from Google alerting me about replies.
I also noticed somewhere else, outside of this forum, a business owner who was trying to reply to a local guide’s review but was having a lot of trouble writing a reply and having it successfully send. I cannot attest for this last sentence personally, as it was not me who was experiencing it. However, reading into their post they appeared to have a lot of Google Map knowledge and they had also noticed enough of an issue that they had made a post about it.
It is making me wonder if there was an update that took things out of wack or if any information is available I would appreciate it. Thank you so much! I just wish to act accordingly to any changes that may be happening. Have a wonderful day.
I checked this matter internally, and it seems that replies from businesses are not supposed to show up in your profile, and neither are emails supposed to be sent out. However, you can suggest this functionality as an idea in our Idea Exchange. Popular ideas will be reviewed by Googlers and taken into consideration.

I was curious if there was ever a solution to this issue. I’m now almost a year after this post still having the same problem. Whats the point of being a local guide if you can’t interact with the businesses in your community?
