I found the feedback button, but I don’t actually want to remove location. Is there another way I can reach out to support to investigate this?
Hi @SeaHawks
Thanks for reaching us.
Please read this post to know how to report a Local Guide: How to identify and report fraud on Google Maps
In the post you will find several options. You can choose the most appropriate for your need
Hi @SeaHawks ,
Thank you for your concerns and for helping us keep Google Maps and Local Guides Connect spam free! I will send you a private message with the details on how to report a Local Guide.
Edit: I’ve just realized that you want to report a business and not a Local Guide, for a business it is better to reach out to the Official Google My Business community in the Spam and Policy section.
Hi there, I’m having the same problem too with one of the business listings in Singapore. This restaurant almost only has 5-star reviews (all uncharacteristically detailed as if everyone were taking notes, and many reviews had neat paragraph breaks) and a small handful of 1-star reviews. To these 1-star reviews, the owner responds very aggressively, to the point of threatening legal action - so I’m highly suspicious.
@ErmesT : I checked the link you suggested, but it doesn’t seem entirely suitable, since the restaurant is in fact operational so the listing is not fake/spam/offensive. And of course, since it’s still operating (and new-ish) it wouldn’t be fair to remove the listing entirely lest new customers are unable to locate Maps info. Is there any other course of action? (Apart from manually flagging 30+ reviews… since maybe a few are actually legitimate)
@chenyze , as I mentioned above, it would be better to reach out and report this business to the Official Google My Business under the section Spam & Policy.
